An Important Message from ASQ Headquarters
Make Good Great
ASQ Member Unit Satisfaction and Loyalty Study Open
How can your ASQ Section enhance your member experience? Take our survey and let us know. Your input
provides guidance for creating opportunities focused on your needs. This allows us to provide the products
and services that are most important and beneficial to you.
All ASQ members can provide feedback on how well the Section serves their needs. We appreciate your
participation in this survey. Your answers will be kept confidential and reported only to the aggregate.
ASQ headquarters will send email invitation or postcards to eligible members beginning January 5. The study
will be open through February 28.
As a thank you, participants will be entered into a drawing to win one of eight $25 ASQ Bucks. ASQ headquarters
will provide Section leadership with the results when available in early spring.

Mission Statement of the ASQ Olde Colony Section
Our mission is to be the leading quality resource in the Southeastern Massachusetts area for manufacturing
and non-manufacturing industries, while supporting the goals and objectives of the American Society for Quality
The Olde Colony ASQ Section 0111 has Achieved Quality Management Process Gold Excellence Award for 2007-2008
The Olde Colony 0111 of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) has earned the 2007-08 Quality Management
Process Gold Excellence Award, one of the highest honors a Section can earn in the Society. Only 40 of 255 ASQ Sections
earned this award for the 2007-08 year!
Section Excellence is achieved when a Section meets one, two or three of the Society’s objectives in
member retention, loyalty and satisfaction. If all three objectives are achieved, Gold Excellence is
received, if two objectives are met, then Silver Excellence is awarded, and accomplishing one objective
meets the Bronze level of Excellence. Total Quality is achieved when a Section reaches 75% of the goals
set forth in their Annual Business Plan from the previous year.
