ISO 19011 – It’s Changing. Who cares? - presented by Denise Robitaille

ISO’s premier standard on auditing is in the process of a revision. For years, ISO 19011 has been under the stewardship of TC176, the technical committee responsible for quality management system standards – most notably ISO 9001. With the proliferation of sector specific standards and management system standards focused on risk, safety, energy and the environment, it was determined that the market would be better served if the standards developers represented a broader range of users.

During the revision, the technical experts are considering changes in audit practices, the impact of technology and challenges of dealing with multiple standards while auditing a system.

This session will provide an update on the revision and discuss benefits that can be derived.
